Key Nissan Service

Don’t want to leave this review but it’s only fair. It’s been about two months since we came to this shop. Me and my dad were looking for a shop in the center we first went with Danny’s Auto shop unfortunately they don’t work on older models so we decided to check out Key Nissan based on good reviews and the Car we have is a Nissan so we figured hey they might know about Nissan vehicles etc. so we went inside made an appointment explained our issue etc, came back few days later to drop off car and they had to do a full car diagnostic came out to around $200-220 I believe we paid. Later on the day they called and said they were keeping the vehicle overnight since they weren’t able to figure what was wrong. Next day they called me again and they said it might be an electrical issue and they said it’s going to be an extra charge of $250 for an electrical diagnostic, which was okay since we wanted to get the car up and running great. So they did the electrical diagnostic and they found a code for a fuel injector not working well. So I told them to replace it and they ordered the part was around $170 & got it done so later on the day we went to go pick it up and they were positive the car was good now so we tested the vehicle and now the car would stall out so we brought it back to the shop and told them so my dad went with the mechanic for a test drive and he noticed the issue my dad was not happy so he left the truck another night next day my dad went to the shop and apparently they still needed time and got a call later on that the car needed spark plug wires so we said okay change them and we paid around $160 I believe it was so we went to pick up the car tested it and now the truck is worse shaking and stalling we weren’t happy, the mechanic and my dad went for a test drive and it was worse then before apparently the mechanic had moved the distributor timing around so it needed to readjusted. The mechanic wasn’t able to figure out how to adjust it since they don’t have a timing light and the truck is RUNNING WORSE than what we brought it in to this shop since then they basically left our car as is it’s stalling out, acceleration is a drag, shakes way more, and we paid around $800 in diagnosis and parts. Really frustrating

I called and spoke to the gentleman working at the time and he was great!! He was very knowledgeable of what my situation was and had me come right in for a quick repair. I arrived 30 minutes later and he took care of me right away. 20 minutes later my car was done and ready for me to take. I love Key Nissan because the guys working there do good honest work and do not over charge you, plus they will always let you know if they recommend any other services by calling you to ask if you would like them done!! Thank you Key Nissan for your help and genuine service. I will keep referring you to family and friends!!

As always, the team was amazing! I was early, and even though it was busy, they still took great care of me. Brought my laptop so I could work while I waited. Highly recommend for those who work remotely. My car was attended to rapidly, and efficiently. It was clean, and very quick. They had quite a line, and my oil change was still wrapped up in under an hour. Will continue to bring my cars here for all my service needs.

I’ve had my Honda Accord serviced at Key Nissan twice now, based on great reviews. The service is great, the prices are reasonable, and – most importantly – I trust them. Update (September 20, 2022): I recently made a reservation to have my air filters replaced and the work was complete within 15 minutes of my reservation. Also, the price was much more reasonable than what another mechanic was trying to sell me on (looking at you, Jiffy Lube). This is why I drive a little further to get my car serviced by Key Nissan.

My brother is a long time Key Nissan customer. When I told him that there was a weird noise coming from the engine of the car we had recently bought for our son he just said, "Come pick me up because we're taking it to Key Nissan." We met with Randy and he took his time to explain what the problem could be and to answer all of my questions without once making me feel pressured into doing something. So we left the car for him to do a Complete Diagnostic. A couple of hours later he called me and told me one of the Cam Shafts needed replacing and that he would need the car overnight because he had to order a new one. He called me early the next morning to tell me the part he had replaced had actually been replaced before and whoever re-wired it had altered the wiring so he would need it a a little longer than expected to repair that as well. But he assured me that he wouldn't charge me for it. We picked up the car a couple of hours after that and besides the great work done on it and what we felt was a very fair price for the parts and labor, the quality of customer service we were given, the time that was taken to make sure all of our questions were answered and thoroughly explained, has made our decision that moving forward, any type of mechanical issues with our vehicles, Key Nissan will be our first and only option.

took my Nissan in for diagnostic on transmission. AAMCO told me i needed to pay $4800 for a replacement CVT. i was in disbelief. wanting a second opinion I found Key Nissan - they charge $120 for a diagnostic which is better than most places around OC. after a few hours in the shop, the head mechanic Sonny concluded that the transmission was all good & the only thing needed was an oil pump replacement. he even gave me a discount - who else but an honest mechanic would do something like that? THANK YOU Key Nissan, you will be my go-to Nissan mechanic from now on.
